Five for Friday

This week has blown by quickly!

Monday was the 100th Day!  I forgot to take a picture of our collections and thought this would be a great place to share.  We compared different objects and how different 100 can look!

I used DeAnne from First Grade and Fabulous US Symbols Unit this week.  So fun!!  She has many cute activities perfect for President's Day.  BTW, Check out her massive giveaway!

We completed our learning with US Symbols by reading Cherry Blossom Friends and completing activities from my Literature Unit. The kids really enjoyed the culminating project!

I was surprised and honored to have author, Corkey Hey DeSimone, purchase and review the unit!

My Sub Tub is all prepared for next week!  It's nice to have a pack up plan for those tough days!  Have you checked out my sub tubs?  Link here and take a peek!  You can also see how I prepare my tubs with my Sub Tub Preparation post!

With Valentine's Day less than a week away, I finally decided to pull down my creepy Halloween Spiders.  They really grew on me!  Kind-of sad to see them go!

To be honest, I kept them up because they drive my husband nuts!  In a pre-school way, I still like to bug the Mr... It's what makes things interesting!  HA!

Thanks for the shout out. I loved seeing your kiddos with the President Day packet. I think it's so cool that the author bought your unit. Everything you do is amazing! :)
