Seed by Seed: The Legend and Legacy of Johnny Appleseed {Book Companion}

This week has been a blast.  We dove into everything apples during our science/literacy lesson each afternoon.  On Friday, we ended our week with a themed day of investigations.

 I scurried home after school this week to create the pages for the next day of lessons and investigations.  The unit I created is a book companion and investigation booklet to align with Seed by Seed: The Legend and Legacy of John Appleseed Chapman.

If you're interested in the companion, click the graphic cover above.

Here's a cover to the book Seed by Seed.  It's not an affiliate link.  I encourage you to check out this well written and easy to understand story!  It's perfect for the primary and intermediate grades.

Click the cover to link to Amazon.

First, I will share the unit and what's available.  At the end of the post, I will share images from our themed day and an example of one of my students booklet she completed.

Our day was amazing.  Here's a few snapshots from our investigations.

Here's an example of my student's investigation booklet.  She did such a great job with the activities and completing the pages.

I hope you love all the activities.  I know we did.  You can find the unit embedded in the first graphic of this blog post.  Have a fantastic weekend.
