Have you ever heard of flash mob dancing? A group of dancers practice a choreographed song and storm subways, restaurants, parades, stores, etc. In a flash, they come and go! It is hysterical. Here is the funniest video I have ever seen! I aspire to be as active later in life as the gentleman with the sweatband around his head. LOL! AWESOME!! Pay attention to the shock of the patrons shopping in the store.
Hilarious!!! I would've LOVED to be a part of that!

Absolutely! How about a teacher mop dance in the cafeteria during lunch hour?!?! or PTA night?!?!

Love it! Gave me chills!! :) Wouldn't that be a great motivational video to show your staff? Something about collaboration and teamwork…

That is so cool! I like how they all had matching gold hammer pants on.
ReplyDeleteI just hope the hammer pants don't come back in style. Not a good look for a lady.

That was hilarious! Loved how they just scattered at the end. I'm off to google it to check out some more!

Cool video! I think I may have suspected something was up if I saw two different people wearing matching gold hammer pants, but the huge crown rushing in definitely would have taken me by surprise. I always wonder how people get involved i a flash mob. I want in!

Thanks for the video. I laughed out loud! It was a great way to start the day.
ReplyDeleteThat is HIlarious! I would love to see a whole grade level team of staff and students just whip this out at some huge school function!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Thanks for posting that! I LOVE the pants! I was trying to explain what a flash mob is to my son a few days ago. I am going to show this to him right now!
ReplyDeleteOK, that takes me back. I remember doing that dance, or at least attempting it. I can't imagine ever doing it in a store like that but then again I am just not THAT outgoing. Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Thanks for posting. Great way to start the day. They did one on the Bachelorette show last season. That was the first time I had ever heard of this type of dancing.
ReplyDeleteMy school did a flash mob dance for our out-going principal last June. We had an "unplanned" fire drill. The teachers, students, parents and fire department all were involved. It moved our principal to tears. It was fun, crazy (due to it happening on the 2nd to last day of the year) but lots of fun. A parent posted it on Yube Tube.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to do a flash mob dance on our first in-service day. Four teachers from each building (12) have been asked to be in it. We have a practice next week. I am excited to be a part of it. It will be funny to see how the district reacts. Thanks for sharing the video.
ReplyDeleteAll I keep thinking about is how on earth do they coordinate this and how are they all available at the same time? i love the looks on the unssuspecting shopper's faces--some even looked scared at first! That would be so funny to do (secretly, of course!) at a district meeting...especially to surprise principals and superintendents! hmmmm...my super did say yesterday that she wants us to be fiercely loyal and to play harder!.....Thanks for sharing!
