I'm having to post a day or two early. The district will be re-imaging my laptop tomorrow. It's my hopes to receive my computer back ASAP. My desktop is S...L...O...W!
CHAMPs is an acronym for Conversation, Help, Activity, Movement, Participation. I have a planning sheet on the last page of my reflections that assist with stating the expectations for the kids. Here is a great website.
Cheryl, I will have the post up tomorrow. I will link you up as soon as I do. I need to upload some pictures on the camera I forgot at school. :( Hope your laptop is returned soon.
I like the CHAMPS plan. That's pretty neat. Our school incorporated the "I Can" statements this year. Instead of daily objectives, we had the "I can" statements and the students loved it. I'm going to two math workshops this summer and can't wait! I feel like I'll be a little more prepared than others from reading all of your math link ups!
LOVE this! My district does CHAMPS too. I have found it a little difficult to use in the kindergarten class, but overall I think the school as a whole finds it useful. I am so glad you posted this!
These are great sheets for the math stations. I would love to hear a little more about how you like CHAMPS and how you use it. We had an in-service on it before school started this year. Would love to hear more about it. Thanks!
I fixed the links for 3 and 13. Thank you for the kind comments. I will create a post on CHAMPs ASAP. Three and a half more days of school and one PMA session on Wednesday night.
Its been of utmost importance and value for the students and other respective bodies to try all those measures as have been mentioned here with respective guides. sop mba
Love your blog! Can you tell me what CHAMPS stands for?

ReplyDeleteLove your post! Thanks for all the resources. How long does it take before you start implementing small groups while students are working on stations?
ReplyDeleteI'm unable to open Champ #3, and #13.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
