We then lost one of our third graders on the 25th. He was in a car accident in August and never awoke from his comma. It has been an amazingly difficult couple of weeks so I feel for you. The hardest has been helping our third graders understand, process, grieve and say their good-byes. :( We do go on... and I love all of your things! I too love Stellaluna and our theme this year is owls. I may borrow your compare and contrast activity. Chin up! :)Mrs. Lavoiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13936121336640457703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070682987795463715.post-77438116882738480792011-11-02T00:50:47.576-04:002011-11-02T00:50:47.576-04:00Sorry for the losses you have had in the last few ...Sorry for the losses you have had in the last few weeks.

Thank you for the wonderful resource for the postcard exchange. My students will love making these. We are just completing a lapbook on insects and starting one to go along with Charlotte's Web. This will be so wonderful to use. I often used the little books where you cut a slit and fold the paper inside. They are great! One comment about my state, Oregon . . . the state flower is actually called the Oregon Grape not just Grape. It is a different plant than a grape plant.

DianeDianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07274425577800891591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070682987795463715.post-81810117611568271952011-11-01T06:05:15.666-04:002011-11-01T06:05:15.666-04:00Thanks. I did notice a mistake - The state flag for Alaska is with Arizona, so I'm guessing that the Arizona flag is with Alaska.Ms. Woldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06702682014269504124noreply@blogger.com
